For three years Living On Music With Steve Houk has been deeply committed to supporting local, national and international musicians by creating engaging and informative experiences highlighting their lives and their music, beginning as a support element during the pandemic, and also beyond. Fans from around the world have been treated to a unique glimpse of the lives of over 200 musicians and music people, and my extensive musical knowledge coupled with engaging interviewing style has made this a must-watch for music lovers.
But ever since the beginning, the production of Living On Music has been a 100% PRO BONO excursion, as in a non-paid one for the entire Living On Music team, using our own time, energy, talents and personal finances to research, produce, create and market episodes and more for both the musicians that are interviewed, as well as the many people who follow them or learn about them. We’ve loved every second of it all, but something has to CHANGE to keep the train rolling.
So to keep Living On Music’s mission surging along – a mission dedicated to the interaction and engagement with, the promotion of, and in some cases the introduction of musicians to the public — times do need to change, so that’s why Living On Music is presenting “GIVING TO LIVING ON MUSIC,” a golden opportunity for those who are part of the Living On Music Nation, and also those who eventually could or will be, to directly contribute to the financial support of the program and make a lasting difference and presence in the ongoing production and presentation of Living On Music.
